TNTET 2020 TRB TET Online Application Form Hall Ticket Question Paper

Tamil Nadu Teacher Recruitment Board TRB is going to announce the TNTET 2020 Application Form/ Online Registration. TNTET 2020 was scheduled to take place in June 2020 but due to global Covid19 Pandemic, the TRB Board decided to postpone the TN TET (TRBTET). Now the TRB Board is all set to release TNTET Notification and TNTET Application Form.

About TNTET (TRB TET): TNTET is a state-level Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by the Teacher Recruitment Board of Tamil Nadu. TNTET is Conducted at 2 Levels. At Level 1, candidates for classes 1 to 5 appear while at level 2 candidates for classes 6 to 8. TRB Board doesn’t conduct TET for Higher level as the recruitment gets done through a direct recruitment test which is called trbpg. It is mandatory for a state board to conduct TET for the recruitment of Teachers according to NCTE RTE ACT 2003.

TNTET Online Application Form 2020: TRBTET Online Registration

TRB Board will invite eligible candidates to apply online or Register online for TNTET 2020-21. The candidates who hold a specific education qualification can apply online at the official website of TRB Board. The candidates will get a time frame of 30 days to submit an online application for TN TET.

TNTET Educational Qualification

TNTET has been divided into two parts. Candidates applying for TNTET must hold the minimum qualification as mentioned below

Following is the education qualification for Paper 1. 
  • Higher Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

OR

  • Higher Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.

OR

  • Higher Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
Minimum Qualifications for TNTET Paper-II
  • Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

OR

  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).

OR

  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations.

How to Apply Online for TNTET 2020/ TRBTET Online Registration

The willing candidates can submit their applications for TNTET Online. The board will open an online application form link on the official Website trb.tn.nic.in. The candidates do need to fill the form and submit with the application fee.

TNTET Hall Ticket 2020 & Exam Centre Details

The candidates who have successfully submitted online applications will get their TNTET Hall Ticket online. The candidates of Paper 1 and paper 2 can download TN TET Hall Tickets (TRBTET Hall Ticket) from the official website trb.tn.nic.in.

It is necessary for the candidates to download the TNTET Hall Ticket to appear in the exam. The Hall Ticket will carry important information like exam centre details and exam schedule.

Without a hall ticket, candidates won’t be allowed to appear in the TNTET Exam.
